The production team spent three weeks in the rugged picturesque hills of Gillette, Wyoming acquiring lifestyle and product cinematography / photography used in both physical and digital environments while filming a branded content film "Night of The Saint"; part documentary and part competition, highlighting six bold women who chose to seize control of their safety and their legacies. These six forward-thinking and independent women who believe in their ability to protect themselves faced a series of intensive training and competitive scenarios lead by former Navy Seal and professional defense trainer Eric Frohardt. These women represent everyday Americans who have decided to train their skills against the possibility of everyday threats. The live action footage was cross cut with studio product cinematography to create a product launch spot positioning The Saint AR-15 for people who are up for the challenge.
Outreach strategy included three introductory brand image videos distributed across all media (microsite, email, social, etc.) hitting on three key positions of Defend Your Legacy; Train Your Fear, Grip Your Nerves and Stare Down Evil.
Other deliverables included a looping “mindset” header video, and influencer cross promotion. Social takeovers included customized promotional assets for influencer and grassroots advocates to share with their followers and promotional videos implemented across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. This project was a part of Springfield Armory's "Defend Your Legacy" Campaign which was honored at the 2017 OKC Addy Awards for Film, Video & Sound with a Silver Award.
